• Corky Siegel enters his 45th year of international performances, and Chamber Blues celebrates their 23rd year!
• Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues wowed presenters at the recent 2009 Arts Midwest booking conference on the Spotlight Showcase at the Fitzgerald Theater.
• Corky will be releasing a new Chamber Blues CD in 2010 with 5-octave vocalist Marcy Levy.
• The 2009 premiere of Corky's major symphonic work "Symphonic Blues Suite" is receiving international acclaim. Since the premiere, it has been performed over 12 times from France to Serbia, Mexico and the U.S.
• Corky was the recipient of the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chicago Music Awards with his Siegel-Schwall Band partners.
• Corky is touring India and performing with Dr. L. Subramaniam (India's Paganini of the violin) along with Bollywood film star vocalist Kavita Krishnamurti. Collaborative performances will be available as part of the East Meets West Tour in 2010.
• The Chicago Public school system purchased 150 copies of Corky's book "Let Your Music Soar" for all area school libraries.
