More Details About This Master Class (from Corky)
The purpose of this workshop for me is to guide you or you and your group quickly into a deeper emotional experience in your own performances, while at the same time increasing musicality and confidence, so that you will experience for yourself exactly how to achieve your own musical goals more easily and more consistently even under challenging situations. Performing music should always be a fulfilling experience and never a burden.

The method I use is based on what I call "intensity variation" which results in dynamic variation (the variations of volume between loud & soft). Intensity variation becomes a focal point that is completely in your control and easy to grasp and allows many complexities of performing music to fall in place very naturally.

In this master class we will explore and experiment extensively with intensity variation and experience first hand the amazing power of this simple method and find out how and why it works so well. - Corky Siegel

TESTIMONIALS

DIRECTOR OF A MUSIC SCHOOL
"I am walking around rather amazed today. I spent some time practicing this, playing Bach and exploring your ideas and suggestions. What has occurred defies description. I know you've seen the impact this has on people--you can add me to the list. The way I play seems to have fundamentally changed and improved overnight. I can't actually believe it, but I think it is true." - Michael Miles - Old Town School of Music

COLUMBIA COLLEGE STUDENTS
"This little four day course changed my life" "This was the most fun I have ever had in any course I have ever taken." "This course should be mandatory for all musicians, performers, poets, and others who communicate through their art. There is nothing like this anywhere."

JAZZ BAND NEAR SAN FRANCISCO
"What an ear opener! Brought the group to life, prepared us for our performances. We have turned the familiar into the dramatic. Not only are we more excited by the music but our audience has been surprising us by their level of engagement in our performances. ... opened up limitless possibilities. Between the five of us there is over 100 years of playing experience and 30 years of music school. All of that time and experience gelled in the few hours of working with you on these concepts.
